Renal Biopsies

Renal Physicians should bring the fresh specimen to the department as soon as possible for viewing under the dissecting microscope and selection of material for light and electron microscopy fixation. The department will make the necessary arrangements for transportation of the specimen if required. Please contact the department to arrange the procedure in advance to ensure the local availability of transport media.
