The following tests are carried out by or referred by other sections of the Pathology Laboratory at Peterborough, however where appropriate clinical interpretation from an Immunologist is given.
Haematology:
- B cell markers (limited profile)
- Lymphocyte subsets (T,B, NK Cells)
- HLA-B27
Clinical Biochemistry:
- Bence-Jones Protein (urine electrophoresis and immunofixation)
- Complement C3 and C4
- Cryoglobulins (Special sample collection procedures apply - see here for details)
- Immunoglobulin levels (Total IgA, IgG & IgM)
- Rheumatoid factor
- Serum electrophoresis and immunofixation
- Serum free light chains
- Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) antibodies
