Specimen Collection

A liquid stool specimen of 1‐2 mL in a universal is sufficient for toxin detection. Samples which are solid or formed and do not take the shape of the container will not be tested. Please ensure a representative sample is sent. Specimen containers must be at least ¼ full. Repeat tests will not be performed if tested negative within 7 days, or positive within 1 month.
