Specimen Collection

1.3ml Paediatric EDTA (Red lid). Minimum of 5 drops. If patient is 4 months or older, please see Paediatric/neonatal Group and Save instead.

To determine a patients ABO group  and DCT/DAT.

Interferences

Haemolysed or lipaemic samples may not be able to complete testing, whereupon new samples will be required.
