1.3ml Paediatric EDTA (Red lid). Minimum of 5 drops. If patient is 4 months or older, please see Paediatric/neonatal Group and Save instead.

To determine a patients ABO group  and DCT/DAT.

Interferences

Haemolysed or lipaemic samples may not be able to complete testing, whereupon new samples will be required.

Mixed population of RBC within the cuvette. Indicative of some RBC's with no reaction and other RBC's with a positive reaction to anti-IgG.
