Used in the investigation of growth disorders and disorders of pituitary function
No interferences from haemolysis, lipaemia, icterus, etc. Samples should not be taken from patients receiving therapy with high biotin does (>5mg/day) until at least 8hrs following the last biotin administration. 
IGF1 has age and sex related reference ranges which are identified on reports. For a full list of the reference ranges please contact the laboratory (peh-tr.chemimm@nhs.net [1], or 01733678455).
